Miata Fanti Smith

December 3, 1993 – January 13, 2022

A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. It is with sweet sorrow that we announce the death of Miata Fanti Smith, who surrounded by family, gained her heavenly dancing wings on Thursday, January 13, 2022. Miata was an incredible young woman whose vibrancy and joy in life was a direct testament of God’s miraculous power, faithfulness and resilience. She was loved by everyone whose path she crossed, and her legacy of strength, faith and fight is immeasurable. We mourn her death, yet celebrate and remember her beautiful life.

Miata is survived by her parents, Frank Henry Smith, II and Munah Wotorson-Smith; sister Malaika Smith; grandparents Honorable and Mrs. Cletus Wotorson, and an amazing community of family, god-family, and friends.

Memorial Celebration Service: Friday, February 18, 2022 at 11:00am CST, at Waite Park Wesleyan Church, 1510 33rd Ave NE, Minneapolis, MN 55418

In person attendance requires Negative COVID-19 test results (within 72 hours of service) and masks must be worn during the service.
