Comfort Yjakpai Anderson Miller

The Miller, Anderson, and Ledlow families announce the transition of our beloved wife, mother, sister, niece, aunt, cousin, confidant and friend: Comfort Yjakpai Anderson Miller, affectionately known as “Sweet Kpai”, “Comfee”, “Kpai”, “Goray”, “Mrs. Miller” and “Aunty Kpai”; from labor to reward on Sunday, December 26, 2021 - at Henrico Doctors’ Hospital in Richmond, Virginia. She leaves to mourn her irreparable loss: her husband MSgt. Elijah Miller, son Edward Sando-Miller, aunty Beollia Myers, siblings Leona “Babysister” Anderson-Waiwaiku, Elizabeth “Hardtime” Anderson-Bowen, Marian “Mam” Anderson-Ivy (John), Cecelia “Teta” Anderson-McGee (Charles) and Yolanda “Younaway” Anderson-Browne (David), several nieces, nephews, neighbors, a host of relatives and very close and dear friends.

She was predeceased by her father Robert W. Anderson Sr., her mother Mary Ledlow Anderson, her brothers Robert “Borbor” W. Anderson Jr., and Al-Rufus “Papa” Anderson and nephew Clarence M. Anderson.

The mortal remains of Comfort Yjakpai Anderson Miller will be removed from the A. B. Anderson Funeral Home, Lynch Street and then transported to the First United Methodist Church, Ashmun Street

6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.: Wake-Keeping
All tributes must be paid at the wake. Only designated individuals including family, will speak at the funeral.
A celebration of tributes, songs and praise will be held at the
First United Methodist Church, Ashmun Street
