It is with profound regret and deep sorrowthat the Lawrence, Diggs, Dixon, Ross , Grimes and Doe families announce the death of their husband, father, brother, uncle, nephew and cousin, Mr. Cyrus Diggs Lawrence. This sad event occurred on Friday, January 7, 2022, at the Holy Cross Hospital, Silver Spring, MD (USA). Cyrus was a selfless person with a servant’s heart. His gentle demeanor and love for cultivating genuine friendships endeared him to many.
He leaves to mourn his loving, caring and devoted wife, Mrs. Lorene Grimes Lawrence; his children – Eden, Ethan, and Abigail. He also leaves to mourn his death his loving mother Fametta M. Dixon; father Mr. Lemuel Lawrence; siblings – Mawine G. Diggs (Minister of Commerce, R.L), Victor Diggs, Lucretia Diggs Browne, Dino Diggs Boimah, Barbara Diggs, Christian Lardner and Christine Lardner; uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends in Liberia, Europe, Canada, and the USA. Cyrus’ life touched many and we all mourn his loss.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord; and let perpetual light shine upon him.
