Garmai Stella Lavala

The Lavala, Howard and Kortu families announce with great sadness the home-going of our beloved daughter, mother, sister, aunt, niece, cousin Garmai Stella Lavala. This sad event occurred on Monday, February 28, 2022, after a brief illness at the Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, Georgia.

She is survived by son Gonkerwon Segren Zoe, her father Henry Q. Lavala Sr. (Barbara), her siblings Henry Jr. (Elizabeth), Rachel, Dak (Valerie), Herman, Jermone-Sumo (Ronel), Dedeh (Bassey), YoQuai (Adelaine), Nowu and Yasah

She was predeceased by her son, J. Wolobah Kponneh; mother, Lucy Howard Kortu; step-father, Alfred C. Kortu; and sister, Eppsie Renee Lavala

Dresscode: To honor Garmai, ladies please wear hat/fascinator (any color) if you can.
