Miss Maude Judah George
October 30, 1950 – February 13, 2022
It is with profound sadness that the George, Thomas, Jlay, Sawyer, Meekins, Traub, Gbehan, Allen, and Goodlin families deeply regret announcing the home-going of our beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunty, cousin, niece and friend. This sad event occurred on February 13, 2022 at her resident in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, USA.
Aunt Maude as she was affectionately called, leaves to mourn her passing: her three dear sons – Glenn Frank Traub, Tuan Gbehan, and Frankie Allen; her grandchildren: Marsue Williams Horrace, Jeremiah C. Williams (JC), and Frank Traub Jr ; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings - Cecelia Meekins, Janet George, John Jlay, Eliza George, Jerusha Jlay, Florence George, and several other brothers and sisters to name a few; foster children/cousins: Casselia and Joe Goodlin, several nieces and nephews; Kaifalah Dorley, Fanta Dorley, Maseta Dorley, McAllen George, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Aunt Maude was predeceased by her parents: Mr. John Newspaper Jlay-George, and mother Frances Anna-Jean Thomas George; uncles: Benjamin Jlay and Francis Jlay; daughter: Debbie Kollie; brother: Allen George; sisters: Sarah and Rebecca Bernice George, and other aunts and uncles.
Aunt Maude sudden death came after a series of illness and hospital visits. She will certainly be dearly missed by all whose lives and those who she touched through her kind deeds. May her soul rest in perfect peace in the loving arms of Jesus Christ.
