Daniel Nawetos Flomo

October 12, 1959 to February 21, 2022

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.” (John 14:1-3)

The Flomo, Williams, Otu, Mulbah, and Larmouth families are deeply saddened to announce the passing of their Husband, Father, Brother, Uncle and Friend, Mr. Daniel Nawetos Flomo. His transition to be with the Lord took place on Monday, February 21, 2022 at the Christiana Hospital in Delaware.

Daniel Nawetos Flomo was born on October 12, 1959, in Gbanway, Lofa but moved with his parents to Tubmanburg, Bomi County in the late 60’s where he started school at United Pentecostal Mission School. Upon completing elementary school, he moved to Monrovia with the Greenfield Family and enrolled at Matilda Newport Junior High School. In 1978, he graduated from Tubman High School. Upon completing high school, he attended the Bong Mines Vocational School, where he graduated with a diploma in Machinery. Daniel obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems from Park University in Missouri in 1994 and a Master’s degree in Special Education from Delaware State University in 2004.

Daniel Nawetos Flomo is survived by: His Wife, Regina Williams Flomo, his children: Apu Flomo, Sonnie Kanneh (Valentine Kanneh), Daniel Flomo Jr. (Shanna Flomo), Jaline Dixon, Aprilyn Flomo and Isaac Flomo, his 9 siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and a host of other relatives.
