HAROLD S. FLEMISTER Sr.

February 24, 1949 - January 5, 2022

It is with a heavy heart that we, the Flemister family and the Broderick family, announce the home going of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and cousin, Harold S. Flemister. He was commonly known as “Our Man Flem”, “Flem”, “Boy Harold”, “Boy Flem”, and “Sunny Boy”.

Harold S. Flemister was born February 24th, 1949, to Odessa Flemister (Ball) in Chattanooga, TN. At age 13 Harold relocated to Monrovia, Liberia with his parents where he met his wife Augusta Broderick and had 3 children Odessa Flemister, Baby Flemister, and Harold E. Flemister before moving back to the states.

While in Monrovia, Harold was employed by the police station as a cadet in high school. He later graduated and transferred to the CID (Criminal Investigation Division). Harold also had various other career ventures such as the Venture Gaming Company and Watkin Hut Security.

Harold passed away Wednesday January 5th, 2022, with his loving wife, Augusta Flemister, at his side. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, aunts, uncles, brothers, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Left to mourn his loss are his wife, Augusta B. Flemister 4 children- Odessa Flemister, Harold Flemister, Sema Alexander, Oritha Kpan, 8 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, 1 brother, 3 sisters, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Harold’s funeral will be held at Taylor Funeral Home in Chattanooga, TN on January 22nd at 1:00 pm. Masks are required for those anticipating attending the service.
