It is with a heavy hearts that we announce the homegoing of our dearest mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, cousin, aunt, and friend Jemima Horace Dumui. Affectionately called Teekity, Young Geh, Miss Turkey, and Jim. She transitioned in the comfort of her home in Dover, DE on Friday, April 8, 2022 with the embrace of her daughter Josephine Lloyd.
Jemima Dumui was born to the Late Sandy Ford Horace and Mary Feta Horace in Bensonville Liberia. As the oldest of 3 girls, she began her early education in Bensonville and later moved to Monrovia where she completed her education in telecommunications. She later pursued her career as an International Telecommunications Operator and Supervisor for over 40 years. She dedicated her service to training new employees communicating with people all around the world. She was also a dedicated member of the Soul Clinic Mission School in Paynesville Monrovia and also a member of First Church of God where she was recently baptized.
