It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts, the Dempster, Caulker, Herring, Hoggard, Knight and Menjor families - announce the heavenly and peaceful transition into glory of their beloved: husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend; his eminent, the
Honorable Ruel Francis Dempster, on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at the Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, Maryland, USA., with his committed and devoted wife of 43 years by his side.
Sir Ruel Francis, as affectionately called, christian life and discipline shaped his formative years, with infinite values well into his refined adult life; with grace, great love and dedication throughout his last days; with unshakable faith and devotion to God; thus, he received his grace for eternity. This God-fearing family man was a loving and caring husband, a great and respectable son to his mother, madam Eva Mae Caulker, her “only button on Joe’s coat;” as said in our Liberian parlance.
He also leaves to mourn his mother, Eva Mae Caulker, his cherished wife, Mrs. Matilda Menjor - Dempster; and four beautiful children: Ruelda (Andre), Sia-Musu (Jentry), Ruel Francis Jr., and Tombekai Feweh (Shena), (Sahr Tombekai-predeceased). Six grandchildren: Kaira, Jaden, Alphonzo, Xalayzia, Jared, Jason. His brothers, sisters, uncles, cousins and a host of relatives and friends in Liberia and the Diaspora.
Honorable Ruel Francis Dempster, was a true Patriot and a charter member of the Patriots for Liberia’s Transformation, a “Think Tank” in the Diaspora helping with Liberia’s policies and transformation. A highly spirited public servant with an enviable record, and a penchant of doing right by others. He was a committed and devoted member of the “Ever Creative Word Ministries (ECWM) in Silver Spring Md. USA.
