Cornelia Mini Diggs Davis

It is with sadness and heavy hearts that the Davis, Diggs, and Nimely families announce the peaceful home-going of our beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Auntie, and Cousin- Cornelia Mini Diggs Davis. This sad event occurred the evening of Sunday, March 6, 2022, in Galloway, NJ.

Cornelia, CD, Aunty Mini; Cornee-Cornee, the General” as she was affectionately called leaves to mourn her loving husband of 37 years, Fayia Isaac Davis; Her only son: Tennyson S. Davis Sr., (Valerie), Inangor Davis, Ika Davis, Louis Davis Seoh, Louis Diggs, and Danny Davis. Grandchildren: Gabby, Lindsey, Tennyson Jr., and Emory; Twenty-one siblings including: J. Wisseh Diggs (Eugenia); Tete Green; Anna Diggs Okai; Malia Diggs; Rose Ella Diggs Tweh (Steven); Melvina Diggs; Julianna Diggs Johnson; Jannie Diggs Momo and Victoria Diggs. Sisters In-Law, Brothers In-Law, a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins in the USA and Liberia and her “Kindred Village” The Liberian Community Association of South Jersey.

A woman of great faith, exceptional humility, dignity and grace, Cornelia was predeceased by her Parents, John Zor Diggs & Tomah Nimely.

The “General” will be deeply missed by her many friends and family members.
