Rameses I.E. Bright
It is with great sadness that the Bright, Dillon, Gooding, Jones, Clarke, Reeves and Goll families announce the homegoing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, Rameses I.E. Bright. His peaceful passing occurred on the morning of May 17, 2022 in Takoma Park, MD.
Rameses was predeceased by his parents the late Honorable Robert I.E. Bright, Sr. and Mrs. Gladys Macfoy, as well as his Aunt/Mother Marie Davis Johnson and stepmother Edith L. Bright. He was also predeceased by his siblings Ramona Morris, Guildford Thomas, Marie Bright Cooper, Raymond Bright, Ralph Bright and Joseph Bright.
He leaves to cherish his memory…his wife of 58 years Ann Dillon Bright, his children Cyril Rameses Bright (Tracey), Jallah Gibli (Vanessa), Renee Bright Forbes (Edward), Sondia Bright, his grandchildren Miles S. Forbes, Rameses J. Bright, Qua’Nasia Gibli, and Jah’Lasia Gibli, his siblings Juanita Macauley, Charles Bright, Omodele Greaves, Wadai Dennis, Rev. Enid Cole, Womi Neal, Robert Bright, Jr. (Christina), Cecelia Watson (Kelvin), Lawrence Huskins (Florence), Nancee Bright (Henrik), Sayonne Dennis (Tshekidi), Archie Bright (Suena), Emery Bright (Lisa), as well as a host of loved ones, including several nephews, nieces, cousins, godchildren, in-laws, and friends in Liberia, Europe and The United States.
