The Brent, Clarke, and Birch families announce with a heavy yet a thankful heart the home going for our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, Aunty, cousin, Mrs. Julia Joanna Clarke Brent of Lynn, Massachusetts, also Bentol, Montserrado County, Liberia. Our mother transitioned from this world to her heavenly home on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, in Lynn, Massachusetts.
Julia Joanna Clarke Brent was born on September 30, 1933, to Joseph Clarke and Martha Birch Clarke in Lexington Sinoe County, Liberia. As we called her, Mom met and married James A Brent (Deceased) and moved to Bensonville, now Bentol City, Montserrado County, Liberia.
Julia C. Brent devoted her life to serving the Lord and taking care of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and family.
She leaves to cherish her memories her children, Lewellyn Brent (Pearl), Genevieve Brent, J. Julius Brent (Kula), Nehemiah E Brent Sr. (Maluwoi), Nutu Brent, Massa Brent Gbellee, Theodosia Brent Scott (John), Francis Brent (Rebecca), Ada Mai Baysah, Adolphus Mollie (Choco), Lady Mccauley, Viola Mitchell, Charles Brent, Amelia Brent, Nicholas Dennis, and Daniel Klee, her sister and best friend, Thelma Garnett.
Grandchildren, Johnetta Jackson, Dalasue Brumskine (Nat), Julia Brent Agbonavbare (Edwin), Bendu Glasgow, Errol Brent, Ihioma Breneus(Eric), Ife Adighibe, Alexander Brent (Ellen), Alexis Paymah, Josephine Brent, Relda Scott, Burges Brent, Lewellyn Brent Jr., Alex Kenneth, Michael Brent, Gencea Williams, Nehemiah Brent Jr., Natasha Whern, Jennifer Scott, James Brent, Nutu E. Brent, Tyler Brent, Naomi Brent, and Samuel Brent, Niece Elitha Nyken and many more grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents: Joseph and Martha Clarke, James Alexander Brent (Husband), Walter Adighibe (son), Maggie Brent Jackson (daughter), George Brent (son), Harry Brent (son), Mary Ware Sandi (sister), Cecelia Clarke (sister), and Willett Broh (niece).
The wearing of masks is required at the funeral.
