YHOUMONYHEN AITKEN

“God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore: for the former things have passed away.” ~ Revelation 21:4.

The Grove, Aitken, Akinsiku, Johnson, Joe, Brandy, Brumskin, Stewart, Liles, Melton, and Uso families regret with great sadness to announce the untimely home going of our beloved daughter, sister, aunty, niece, cousin and friend; the late Yhoumonyhen Aitken who transitioned to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 9, 2022, at Eastside Medical Hospital in Snellville, GA U.S.A. She was born on May 30, 1981 at Laguardia Hospital, Jamaica, New York. Her father Fritzgerald Aitken pre-deceased her.

Yhoumonyhen leaves to cherish her precious memories her devoted mother Bishop Marilyn Grove, her siblings; Geralyn Aitken, Maidahweh Williams, and Benoni Tejan-Cole; many uncles and aunties and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends in the United States and Liberia.

We grieve for Yhoumonyhen but not as though we do not have hope because we are comforted that we will see her again on that great resurrection morning. Indeed, Heaven has gained an angel! May her gentle soul rest in everlasting peace.
