The Yancy, Williams, Johnson, Ricks, Pratt, Smith and Hutchins families announce with profound sadness but with grateful hearts the joyous homegoing of their wife, mother, grandmother, sister and cousin, Mrs. Harriet Dorinda Williams Yancy. Her peaceful transition occurred on Tuesday, July, 27, 2021 at the Northside Hospital in Canton, Georgia.
She leaves to mourn her loss: her husband of 40 years Dr. R. Evans Yancy, children: Roland E. Yancy, Jr. (Shekeda), Rodney F. Yancy (Shardae), grandchildren: Ethan Yancy, Sophia Yancy, Jasmine Yancy, Cameron Yancy, Ryeleigh Yancy and Ryan Yancy; Siblings: Leona Williams-Washington (Victor), Jimmy F. Smith (Abigail), Sarah Smith, John N. Ricks (Velvita), Louise Conduah ( Codjoe), Annie Jackson (Jeremiah), Niveda Onuoah (George), Precious Ricks, Alice Wisseh, Betty Sackie ( James), Theodore Williams, Esther Williams, Clarence Williams, Boimah Williams, Janice Williams, Cornelius Williams, Dorinda Williams, Musulyn Williams, Lucretia Williams, Josephine Williams, Diane Williams, their spouses and her step-mother Mrs. Musu Zinnah Williams.
