 Magnette Elizabeth Woods
The family of Magnette Elizabeth Woods announces her home going which occurred on Sunday, October 10, 2021. Affectionately known as “Lizzie” to her family members and “Sweetheart” to her grand and great grandchildren, Magnette lived a long and fruitful life. She is our shining star and will be greatly missed.
Mourning her departure yet joyful that she is with her beloved Jesus are her children Candace Cleo Sawyer, Evangeline Pelham Wayne and Eric Jorkey Sr. (Victoria); her grandchildren Miatta, Cordell Jr, Joshua, Zoe, Timothy, Meneena, Joel, Gabriel, Samuel, JeMeg, Cleo, Lawrence, Jartu, Princess, Lawrena, Eve, Lawrence Jr., Grace, Verica, Vanessa, Eva, Lisa, Caleb, Eric Jr. and several great grandchildren.
Lizzie is survived by her only remaining sibling and beloved sister, Malvenia Woods Dunn as well as loving nieces, nephews, and numerous cousins. Rest in Peace Sweetheart and may light perpetual shine on you forever.
