Edmund "EP" Williams

We regret to announce with deep sadness the sudden passing of Edmund Poud Williams, affectionately known as "EP". The unfortunate event occurred on Friday, December 19, 2008 at St Luke's Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh, New York.

Edmund is survived by his children: Ambrose, Winifred, Jayson, Garyearzon, Jackson and Patrick; and a host of other relatives, including Emmanuel Pratt, Dr. Bowmah, Emmanuel Sie Jerboh and friends here in the United States and in Liberia.

"As a man embraces life, so must he embrace death. Death is the journey in life at which the eyes are limited. Ultimately, the measure of a man is the measure of his beliefs" E P Williams believed in the Catholic Faith. In his last days, he purposely lived in solitude reflecting on Saint Anthony's love for the Gospel, the church, humanity, and martyrdom. The greatest accomplishment in life is living for God which "EP" exemplified in his last days.
