The family of Alice Washington Tuning (affectionately called "Mrs. Alice", "Sister", "Lice"," Aunty Alice", or "AW") announces with profound regret her death in her 75th year. This sad event occurred on Saturday, February 28, 2009 at 10:25 A.M at St. Joseph Catholic Hospital in Monrovia, Liberia. She is survived by her children: Eunice Essien-Hart (Spouse Albert Hart), Clarence O. Tuning III ( Spouse Edwina Anderson-Tuning) and Royston Gbelia, Foster Children: Joseph, Weah, Biah and Lydia, Step Children: James Jr., Charles, Jenkins and Janet Tuning, Sisters: Tarina Kpadeh, Florence Harris, Angie Harris and Chelnecia Washington, Brothers: Adolphus Harris, Rufus Harris, Magnus Harris, George Washington and Cyrus Washington, Grand Children: BJ (William), Idella, Cotdell, Hazel and Maya-Elenda, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and a Host of Relatives and Friends in Liberia and Abroad.

SERVICES: 11 AM Monday, March 23, 2009 at Providence Baptist Church Monrovia, Liberia

INTERMENT: 2:30 PM, March 23, 2009 in the family's Grave yard in Clay Ashland, Montserrado County

REPAST: 4:00 PM at the William D. Coleman High School, Clay Ashland, Montserrado County
