Rev. John T. Tuider

The
Tuider family of Liberia and United States announces with
profound regrets the death of our beloved father, husband,
and grandfather, the Rev. John T. Tuider, former Pastor of
St. Matthew United Methodist Church, and chairman of Evangelism,
Liberia Annual Conference, United Methodist Church. He was
82 years old.
This
sad event occurred on Thursday, March 26th, 2009 at his residence
in Monboe-Town East, Duala, Bushrod Island. He was a graduate
of Laboratory High School at the University of Liberia, the
Gbarnga School of Theology, and the Booker Washington Institute
(B. W. I).
He also served has associated Pastor of Westchester United
Methodist Church, Bronx, New York, and Mount Calvary United
Methodist Church, in New York City.
He
leaves to mourn his wife of 47 years, Lucy Buteh Tuider of
Monrovia, nine children: Honey Jarbo Dennis of Reston, Virginia,
William Tuider, Sr. of Lawrenceville, Georgia, Paul Tuider,
Julia Tuider-Varmah, Lawrence Tuider, Sr., Mark Tuider, and
Emmanuel Tuider, all of New York City, Grace Tuider and Joseph
Tuider, of Liberia, 19 grand children, and 1 great grand of
the United States and Liberia.
A
service celebrating his life will be held on:
