With heavy hearts, the Thompson Family announce the peaceful transition of John Garmondyu Thompson. John fell sick on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, and went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 27, 2021, in Trenton, NJ, USA.
John was born at the Maternity Center in Bassa Community, Monrovia, Liberia, on December 9, 1964, unto the union of Rev. Moses G. Thompson, Sr. and Martha King. John went to school and graduated at the Monrovia Consolidated School System (MCSS).
John leaves to mourn his loss, the following persons: his children – Simeon, Moses, Teddy & Faith Playboy; his father – Rev. Moses G. Thompson, Sr.; his siblings – Moses Thompson, Jr. (Olivia), Jeremiah Thompson (Mary), Mardea Beatrice Thompson, Wealy Moses, and Lexi Diamond Thompson; his girlfriend - Keisha Whittington; aunties, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, sisters-in-law, and a host of relatives and friends in the United States of America, Canada, Africa, and other parts of the world. John was predeceased by his mother, Martha King, and his brothers, James, Borbor and Levonza Gardea.
John touched many lives very profoundly. He was a person with enormous faith in God. John is no longer living with pain. May his soul rest in perfect peace.
