Lincoln James Smythe, Sr.

Sunrise December 30,1950 - Sunset November 21, 2021

It is with great sadness that the Smythe, Ricks, and Kwaizah family announce the homegoing of their beloved Father, Husband, Grandfather, and Brother. 

After a triumphant battle with underlying health issues, Lincoln James Smythe passed away on November 21, 2021. Leaving to be with the Lord at 8:20am, in Baylor Scott and White Hospital (Dallas, TX). Lincoln James Smythe peacefully passed away with family by his side. Knowing that though the battle was long, he is going to rest peacefully in the bosoms of his lord and savior.

Lincoln Smythe Sr. was born unto late father and mother Edwin Harding Smythe and Ruth Woodie Hill-Ricks.

Children: Teddy Smythe, Jeffy Smythe, Lincoln Smythe Jr., Julyn Wede Smythe, E. Harding Smythe, Momo and Delrene Smythe.

Isaac Ricks, Clara Ricks, Antoinette Ricks-Ashby, Laura Ricks-Jones (Woodson), John Henry Ricks III (Victoria), Florence Ricks-Abedubentsi, Cyril E. Ricks Sr. (Esther), Geneva M. Ricks, Carlton Lorentzo Ricks(Festina), Osward K. Ricks Sr.(Sinoe), Ruth W. Ricks, Felix T. Ricks (Minnie), Willam Sumo, and Anthony Kankalan. 

Grandchildren: Trech Smythe, Natasha Love Smythe, Jeffery Smythe Jr., Milaan Smythe, Bradan Smythe,  Juliann Smythe, Cecelia Smythe, Marlin H. Clark, Kevali J. Williams,Saniya Pattain, Aiden Pattain, Braelin Pattain.
