James Thomas Slocum

“God shall wipe away all tears every from their eyes; and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore: for the former things have passed away.” ~ Revelation 21:4.

The Slocum, Weeder, Kromah, and Fumbah families announce the untimely home going of their beloved James T. Slocum who transitioned from this mortal world to glory, on June 23, 2021 at the Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. James was born unto the union of Mr. Thomas L. Slocum and Rimah Fumbah Slocum, in Zean Zuo Town, Bong County, Liberia at the Julia Slocum Mission. James was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Rimah Slocum, his siblings Meshach, Abed-Negro, and Ophelia.

James leaves to mourn his beloved wife for many years, Esther Maquka Kromah Slocum, his children, Fanta, Deauntrae, Mayah, and Demetrius, his mother, Mrs. Williette Slocum, Mrs. Mai Pearson, his siblings, his Delta Airlines family, and many closed relatives and friends in Liberia, and the United States of America. James will be greatly missed. However, Heaven has gained an angel!

May his gentle soul rest in everlasting peace.
