Gargard, Williams and Sherman Families announce with profound
regrets the death of Sarah Weyatta Sherman on June 25, 2008
at Duke University Medical Center in Durham , NC . She is
survived by her sons – M. Martin Gargard, Jr. and Moses
Jackson; daughters – Judith Cisco, Gloria Zomma Dwah
and Blossom Andrews-Sweegaye; cousins – Josephine P.
Reeves and Sonie Sherman; granddaughter -Martina P. Gargard;
brothers – T. Nelson Williams Sr (Chapel Hill, NC).,
Thomas Sherman (Germany), Robert Sherman (Tempe, AZ) and William
Feweh Sherman (Staten Island, NY); two sisters – Bertha
Sherman Walker (Monrovia) and Bendu Sherman (Staten Island,
NY); daughter-in-law Nukey Weitta Gargard and sisters-in-law
Ethel Williams and Carol Sherman. She is also survived by
grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of relatives
and friends in the US and Liberia .
