The Seton, Harris, Hare, and Reid families regret to announce the passing of William W. Seton, affectionately known as Boy Seton, Seton, Boy See. This sudden event occurred in Monrovia, Liberia, a day before his scheduled departure to The United States of America (U.S.A.) for further medical treatment. Seton was a loving, devoted husband and father, son, nephew, sibling, cousin, son-in-law, brother-in-law, and friend, as well as a fair, caring employer, talented, innovative and reliable business partner.
Born on January 14, 1966 to Philip B. Seton, Sr. and Grace Harris, William B. Seton attended and graduated from J. S. Pratt Methodist Elementary School and Bishop Ferguson Episcopal High School, respectively, in Harper City, Maryland County, Liberia.
Subsequently, he received Insurance training and worked for an Accident Insurance Company in Monrovia, Liberia, and IBERIC Liberian Forestry (ILF) prior to establishing his own business. William B. was an accomplished entrepreneur: founder, CEO/President of Solid Rock Investments, Inc. that provide the following services: Construction and Rehabilitation of Roads & Bridges - Importation of Mack Trucks, Yellow Machines. As well, he pioneered Sea Rock Liberia, Ltd, an authorized distributor of Lonestar cell MTN products.
Spiritually, he was affiliated with Geda African Methodist Episcopal (A.M.E.) Church, Brewerville, Montserrado County, Liberia. Socially, he was connected to a Maryland County Association in Liberia.

Seton, Boy Seton, Seton, Boy See leaves to mourn: his wife, Jodie Reid Seton; children : Siaka Diamond Seton, William Blessed Seton, Jr., Walton Treasure Seton, Jodwilla Faith Seton, Jodward Bijou Farley, Ofori Akeem Lapear Nicholas Jr, and Eunice Jebbeh Johnson; his mother, Grace Harris-Merriam, stepmother, Louisa Freeman-Seton, aunt-guardian, Annie Woart, aunt, Elizabeth Bedell Witherspoon; siblings (by consanguinity and affinity): Philip B. Seton, Jr., Lucinda Y. Seton (Alhaji), Frederick Budu Seton (Fannie), Agnes Mamie Seton Johnson (Michael), Ophelia Nyenowin Gibson Yarsiah (James), Philetta Seton Phillips (Elkanah), Melvina Seton, Theophilus Seton, Thomas Seton, Nyankin Seton, James Seton, Felicia Teteway Seton, Lulu Roberts,Toh Merriam and Gibli Woart; his Mother-in-Law, Agnes Paul Reid. nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends mourn the passing of “Boy" Seton.
He was predeceased by his father, Honorable Philip B. Seton, Sr., Councilman, Harper City Corporation (HCC), Maryland County, Republic of Liberia; his uncles: Honorable Nathaniel B. Seton, Sr., County Attorney, Grand Gedeh and Maryland Counties, respectively, The Liberian National Legislature; and Thomas Bedell, Professor of Biology, "Science College", University of Liberia. Honourable Samuel E. Hare, Sr., General Manager of Sinoe Rubber Corporation, Maryland County, Also, his aunt, Laura Seton Cummings Cole, the First Female Liberian Police Officer, predeceased William W. "Boy" Seton.
