With immeasurable sadness, the Carey, Macauley, and Toomey families and a host of other relatives announce the passing of their daughter, niece, sister, and cousin, Cassandra C. Sackie.

This sad event occurred on the night of Friday, March 19, 2021, at 10:47 pm on interstate highway 676, State of New Jersey.

Cassandra, a loving, respectful, and caring child of her parents, Melvin and Vera Macauley, was born on August 3, 1997, "City of Oru, Nigeria, West Africa."

“Cherish, Cher-Cher, or Cassie” affectionately called by her parents, relatives and friends leaves to mourn her loss, five siblings: Mozart Macauley (Sharon), Jameel G. Carey (Philomena), Alex S. Tamba, Patience Yarkpawolo, and Jare Macauley; nieces: Monique, Kona and Emery Aaliyah; nephew, Moise, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends.

Predeceased her were Great -grandmother: Ella Toomey, her grandparents: Mr. Edward N Carey Sr., and Mrs. Aquila K. Carey; uncles: Mickey Roberts and Augustine Roberts, and a loving cousin Pasha M. Davis.
The homegoing celebration of her life will be held at the Winslow Baptist Church, located at 642 Sicklerville Road, Sicklerville, NJ 08081.
