It is with deep sorrow and heavy-hearts that the Roberts, Hayes, Dixon, and Briggs families of Liberia and the United States regret to announce the transition and home going of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and cousin, Rev. Eric Aharon Roberts. This sad event occurred on Monday, August 23, 2021 at the Clinic in Louisiana Township, Liberia.
Rev. Eric Aharon Roberts, former Commissioner of the Township of Louisiana, is predeceased by his parents: Mr. Henry A. Roberts and Mrs. Greta Iola Roberts; Siblings: Mrs. Lenora Reeves Gant, Irene Roberts Washington, and Miatta Roberts. He leaves to mourn his loss, his lovely wife for over forty years, Cornelia Hayes Roberts. Children: Mrs. Effie R. Miller (Henry), Erica A. Roberts, Ena A. Roberts, Eric Van Roberts, Henry B. Roberts, Greta R. Mulbah (Sylvester), and Ezekiel S. Roberts. Stepchildren: Mrs. Bendu B. Czerwimski (Jim), Hilary C. Brown (Meme), Willington Brown (Agnes), Roselydia Brown-Wesseh (Togba) and many foster children. Siblings: Mr. Meshach T. Roberts, Greta D. Roberts, Amanda Roberts Johnson, Facia Roberts Johnson, Tonia Roberts, Ellen Roberts, Henry Kpana Roberts and Grace Jamie Roberts. Many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of relatives and friends also survive him.
May the soul of Rev. Eric Aharon Roberts and that of the faithful departed rest in perfect peace and light perpetual shine upon them.
Funeral Arrangements:
Friday: September 24, 2021 – the body will be removed from the St. Moses Funeral Parlor to the First Baptist Church in Louisiana Township.
Wake: Friday, September 24, 2021 – Viewing of the body begins at 6:30pm.
All tributes will be made at the wake except the immediate family, the First Baptist Church of Louisiana and the Township of Louisiana.
Funeral Service: Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 9:00am at the First Baptist Church in Louisiana Township, follow by Interment at the Cemetery in Louisiana.
