Mrs. Marylue F. Reeves

The sun has set for our mother, Mrs. Marylue F. Reeves who went to join our father, Albert Africanus Reeves, Sr. on Friday, January 23, 2009 at 5:55 PM. This joyous event occurred at the St. Joseph Catholic Hospital, Monrovia, Liberia. Mommie was a member of the Flahn and Reeves Families of Grand Bassa County. Her survivors include her children, Leona Reeves-Stubblefield of Yeadon, PA, Albert A. and Salimut Reeves, Jr.,of Bowie MD, Anna P. and Francis Dennis Jr. of Monrovia, Liberia, Inez V. and Sola Oyelayo of Gaithersburg, MD, and Wynslow I. C. and Charlesetta Reeves of Monrovia, Liberia. Other survivors include her grandchildren, great grandchildren, her elderly uncle, several bothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, foster children, cousins, beloved friends and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral arrangement

The mortal remains of our beloved mother will be removed from the Samuel Stryker Funeral Home on Friday, February 6, 2009 at 9:30 am and taken to the Providence Baptist Church where a thanksgiving celebration of her life will be held.

On Saturday, February 7 at 9:00 AM, the mortal remains of our beloved mother Mrs. Marylue F. Reeves will be taken from the Samuel Stryker Funeral Home to the Reeves Memorial Cemetery in Fortsville, Grand Bassa County where she will be interned.
