Counsellor Albert Africanus Reeves,Jr,

The Reeves and Jalloh families announce the home going of their beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, nephew, cousin and sibling, Counsellor Albert Africanus Reeves,Jr, former Assistant Minister for Litigation at the Ministry of Justice during the Tolbert administration.

Counsellor Reeves left on a government mission on April 11, 1980. Upon arrival in the United States, he learned of the coup d’etat that had overthrown the government he served.

Albert never returned to Liberia but his love for his country never wavered. It was his request that his remains be interned next to his parents, Cllr. Albert Africanus Reeves Sr. and Marylue Flahn Reeves.

A grave side service will be held on December 10, 2021 at 10:00 AM at the Reeves Cemetery, Fortsville, Grand Basra County.

Albert Africanus leaves to always remember him his wife, Salimatu Jalloh Reeves; his children Daneto Neki Reeves and her children, Chanel and Africanus Nickolas; Ciatta Zianna Baysah, Esq.; Albert Africanus 111 and Andrew Reeves. His siblings Anna P. Dennis, Dr. Inez Reeves, Winslow (Charlesette) Reeves, Azariah (Loretta) Reeves and Leona Reeves-Stubblefield; his aged uncle Eddie Flahn and many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
