It is with immense sadness and heavy hearts that the Parker and Gartor families, as well as many friends announce the passing and homegoing of James Mike Parker Jr.  He was called to be with the Lord on November 24, 2021 in his home on Staten Island, NY.  We thank God he did not suffer.  Mike was a beloved member of the Liberian community in Staten Island. He was known for his smile and laid-back manner.       

Mike is survived by his wife, Markpa Parker, his mother Marie Parker, his brothers Robert K. Parker and Emmanuel Parker, his sisters Teete Gordon and Catherine Parker, his children Emma Geegbae and Joko Brownell (daughter-in-law Cassaundra Brownell), his grandchildren Malik, Tyler and Nia, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
