Facia Banks Ofogho

It is with heart-felt sorrow that the Banks, Jones/Marhley and Ofogho families announce the transitioning from labor to rest of their beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and cousin Mrs. Facia Banks Ofogho. This sad but peaceful event occurred on June 24th , 2021  at 8:29p.m. in St. Paul, Minnesota at the residence of her Sister Mrs. Etta Banks Kollie. 

Facia Ofogho was born in the City of Brewerville unto the Union of Robert and Leah Banks, both who predeceased her. She was also predeceased by her step-mother Mrs. Keturah Outland Banks.  She leaves to mourn her loss her children: Yvonne Jones – Dukuly, Cyrus Marhley (Amie), Roosevelt Ofogho, George Jones (deceased), Titus Jones (deceased), Leah Jones (deceased); Eight  grandchildren; Eight great-grandchildren; Three sisters: Etta Banks Kollie, Matilda Banks Dolobah (deceased), Henrietta Banks Collins (deceased); Three brothers: Robert Sabu Banks II (Olga), George Banks and Isaac Banks (deceased).

Mrs. Ofogho became a member of the Jehovah Witness Faith (Liberia) at an early age. Upon  matriculating to the U.S. in 2005, she united with the Granite Creek Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses in Phoenix, Arizona where she diligently served until she relocated to St Paul, Minnesota and transferred her membership to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses on Phelan Blvd., Minnesota.
