The Poneys, Kollie, Jerbo, Jacobs, Johnson, Williams, Early and Davies families announce with profound sadness the passing of their wife, mother, grandmother, stepmother, aunt, niece and cousin, Mrs. Anna Nyoungabe Poneys-Kollie (Commonly known as "Poney Nyoungbae". She passed away peacefully 4:00 p.m. on her birthday May 17, 2008 at her home in the New Georgia Estate area, Monrovia, Liberia. She was born May 17, 1935 (in Butall, Sinoe County - Liberia).

She is survived by her husband James Kollie, daughters, Beatrice Jacobs, Johnetta Mammie Jonhson Williams-Nartey, Albert Boye Williams, J. Emmanuel Williams, Moses Fahn Johnson, Jr., several grandchildren, Sianna Moore , Anthony Kamara Jr, Paulene Jacobs, Christopher Brown Jr, Marpue Williams, Joetta Williams, George Appleton Jr, Alexander Williams, Princes Appleton, J Emmanuel Williams Jr., Beatrice Williams, Angel Moseh, Jared Evander Williams, James Williams, Clara Nartey, great-grandchildren, Albert Johnson Jr, Beatrice Kamara, Timothy Kpolleh, Leela Kpolleh, brothers, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host stepchildren, relatives and friends in Butall, Sinoe County, Monrovia and the United States of America respectively.
