Ms. Menia Jugbeh Nyanseor
December 1, 1954 – “Transitioned of a Matriarch” June 3, 2021
Ms. Menia Jugbeh Nyanseor aka “Sister” passed away at 3:14 PM Thursday afternoon, June 3, 2021 at Fidelity Healthcare on 20th street, Monrovia, Liberia.
Sister, as she is affectionately called by family members and friends was born into the union of Tetee Torborh Korlah Nyanseor and Worhwinn Mardea Sarkpah of Monrovia (Old Kru Town), Montserrado County, Liberia on December 1st, 1954.
She began her early education at Monrovia Demonstration Elementary School, and continued her education at the College of West Africa (CWA), and graduated from Wells Hairston High School in Monrovia.
In 1975, she was employed with the Liberia Tractor Company (LIBTRACO) and worked as a Cadex Clerk until the 1990 Liberian civil crisis.
Menia was a member of the Christian Evangelistic Pentecostal Church (CEPC) in Monrovia where she remained until her demise.
She was a resident of the P.H.P Community all her life but only sought refuge elsewhere during the different crises in Liberia. Menia loved to sew, read, perform housekeeping chores and keep in touch with family, friends and love ones on birthdays.

- Children – Tiposah Bushu Nyanseor (son) and Sedia Setonneh Weeks (daughter)
- Grandchildren – Worwin Dehneseo Nyanseor and Sylvana-June Samu
- Brothers – Elder Siahyonkron Nyanseor, Sr. (Lulu-Spouse) & Sarkpah F. Nyanseor (Ankie-Spouse)
- Sisters – Mother Lucy Winker and Rebecca T. Wisseh and a
- Host of Relatives, Friends and Love Ones in Liberia and the United States of America
- She was predeceased by her brother, Anthony Korlah Wleh Nyanseor.
Funeral arrangement is as follow:
Removal is at 10:30a.m on Friday, June 18 at the Samuel Stryker Funeral Parlor in Sinkor.
Funeral Service is on Friday, June 18, 2021 beginning 11a.m. at the Christian Evangelistic Pentecostal Church (C.E.P.C.) between Cemenco and Cow Factory on Somalia Drive, Gardnesville Road.
Burial is at the Capehart Cemetery on Kehbah Road in Barnesville; behind the Kehbah market
