Vida Korlu Morris was born on December 15th, 1920 in Bolahun Lofa County by her two parents Sata Savo Harley (deceased) and Korkor Flomo (deceased). She is survived by her husband Jacob Morris (deceased) , her five children: Peter Morris, Hawa Morris,

Vegrar Gobewole (deceased), Ebun Bushaman, Joseph Bushman Jr. and her brothers and sisters: Michael Korhone, Joseph Donou (deceased), Elijah Robert (deceased), Ophia Robert (deceased) from her mothers side and a host of brothers and sisters from her fathers side. In addition, she leaved behind a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, neices, grandchildren, great grand children and close friends.

She attended missionary school, was a market woman and a teacher.

Vida was a God fearing, hard working, sociable, and prominent person in the community. Besides spending time with her family, she enjoyed: dancing, singing, keeping up with the latest fashion trends, watching local and international news and

much more. She also enjoyed traveling to the United States, sometimes unannounced, to visit her family while making new friends and returning back to her home country.

She had a bright energetic personality. Vida was known for her ability to always lend a helping hand, never forgetting to put her family first. She touched many lives with her generosity and will always be remembered forever.

In Monrovia, Liberia is where she met Frank E Cowen a.ka Naso. Together, they built a home on Dupo Road where she lived until she went home to her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 9th at the age of 100.
