Honorable Lawrence Morgan

It is with profound regrets that the Morgan and Woods families announce the homegoing of the Honorable Lawrence Morgan. This sad event occurred at the John F. Kennedy Medical Center in Monrovia on Wednesday, July 23, 2008.

Honorable Morgan served his country faithfully for many years. His official titles included Minister of Justice, Senator of Grand Bassa County and Superintendent of Grand Bassa County. He also served as an advisor to several presidents.

He leaves to mourn his children, siblings, nephews, nieces, cousins, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Wake Keeping will be at the First United Methodist Church on Ashmun Street Monrovia on Friday, August 15, 2008.

Funeral Services will be at the same venue on Saturday, August 16, 2008.

Internment will follow immediately after, at his farm in Clay, Bomi County.
