Mrs. Esther Lloyd -Menyoungar
The Lloyd, Menyoungar, DahnSaw and the Glow families announce with great sadness the passing of their beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunty, Friend, and an Official at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Liberia, Mrs. Esther Lloyd -Menyoungar. She met her untimely death on May 2, 2021, at the Soul Clinic medical center in Monrovia.
Although Esther’s (Mama) life ended before we were ready, our thoughts of her will be with complete joy. We want to honor her for her love of life, family, and concern for others with a proud remembrance.
Affectionately known as “RL – Republic of Liberia,” she was a serving and dedicated staff at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (RL) Protocol’s Division. She was also a member of the J.J Power Memorial Methodist church where she committed and served for over 40 years. Esther was one of the faithful members in the women department. She was a figure of attention, personality, and great humor. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Darling-Girl Doe, Mrs. Augusta Tutugirl White, Ms. Veronica Maryeadeh Helb. Esther also had two sons, Lawrence Papee Jones and Trokon Togar who predeceased her. Grand children; Shafflyn Kallon, Lemuel Blessing Doe, Natalia White, and Nariah White. Brothers; Thompson Bahndyu Dahnsaw, Paul Lloyd, Uncle John W. Dahnsaw, sisters; Benetta Lloyd, Bayou Lloyd, Betty Lloyd, aunties and a host of other relatives.
Memorial Service in the United States
There will be a memorial service on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Christ Assembly Lutheran church 664 Broadway Newark, New Jersey: Time 3:00PM to 6:00PM
