Beatrice Nene Ricks Macavoi

With profound sadness, the children of Mrs. Beatrice Nene Ricks Macavoi, along with the Ricks, Macavoi, and Jeannie Teage Roberts families, announce the homegoing of our dearest mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and cousin. This sad event occurred on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at the Benson Hospital in Monrovia, Liberia.
She was affectionately called Mama, Nene, Ms. Bea, B. Ricks, Grandma, and OldMa. She leaves to mourn her passing, her children: Monica Teta Swen, Henry V. Chesson (Tanneh), Amelia Macavoi Bass (Momolue), Vivian Kendema Rennie (Chris), Adama Macavoi, Bernice Macavoi Kwaizah (William), Allie John Macavoi Jr. and Felicia Macavoi Dennis (Al); her sisters Edna Woods and Olivia Washington, and one brother, Mr. Stanley Roberts. She also leaves to mourn her loss her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, adopted children, and a host of relatives and friends in the United States, Liberia, and around the world. She was predeceased by her husband Allie J. Macavoi Sr. and her daughter Weedor Antoinette Macavoi.
