 DEACON, JOYCE ANTOINETTE MOORE-LIBERTY
September 7, 1951 – September 14, 2021
With heavy and mournful hearts, the Liberty, Moore, Page and Stryker Families regret to announce the passing of Deacon Joyce Antoinette Mardea Moore-Liberty, affectionately called Teta-Joyce, who suddenly departed this world on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 10:20 A.M., at Dr. Dolopei Medical Clinic, Paynesville City, Montserrado County, Liberia. Deacon Joyce Antoinette Mardea Moore-Liberty was a faithful member of the Effort Baptist Church.
Teta-Joyce leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved husband of 42 years, Deacon Samuel Eldred Liberty; her biological and adopted children: Cecelia, Ernest-Zarkpah, Zelda (Johnny), Moses, Irener (Fred), Ephraim (Joyce), Siannan, Lisa, Jartu, Brenda, Somah (Amelia) Spencer Crème (Wesline), Samtoinette (Steve), Arisa C. E., Michael, Caroline, Richard, John, Ernest, and Lafyette; 21 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; her mother, Lucretia Gray-Moore; her siblings: Vivion Moore (Cora), Catherine Harris, A. Cadmus Moore, Jr. (Helen), Arlene B. Moore, Larry Everlton Moore, Sr. (Shernett), Cynthia Moore, Owen Spencer Moore, Sr., Katie Moore-Coleman (Frank), Dr. Temora Moore-Gray, Alvina C. Moore (Ragnar), Yvette Lomax, Rebecca Stryker, and Hezekiah Franklin, as well as, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends in the United States, Asia, Europe, Liberia, and other parts of Africa.
Teta-Joyce was predeceased by her parents, Rev. A. Cadmus Moore, Sr. and Mrs. Zenobia Jerusha Page-Moore; her sisters Zoanie Moore, Queenette Moore-Willie, Arisa C. Moore-Gant, Cecelia Harris; her son Alexander R. Liberty, and other close relatives.
May the soul of our amazing devoted wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, deacon and friend Teta-Joyce, Rest In Perfect Peace. Teta-Joyce will be missed dearly, and her memories will forever be cherished. May God grant peaceful repose to our dearly departed and may Light Eternal shine upon her.\
