With grateful and thankful hearts to the Almighty God, the Konneh family announces the death of their father, brother, nephew, cousin and friend, Abraham S. Konneh. This mournful event occurred on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at about 4:00 AM at the ELWA Hospital, after a brief illness.

Abe Samukai, as he was affectionately called, worked several years as a contractor at the Firestone Rubber Company. He also worked with the Morris-American Rubber Company (MARCO) during its formative years in 1996. Samukai loved his children and family and did his utmost & very best to sustain them.

Abe Samukai was predeceased by his parents, Peter V. Konneh and Ma Metto Sao Konneh. He leaves to mourn his passing his children, Christine Moijama Konneh, Abe S. Konneh, Jr., Varney Konneh, Sao Konneh, Kate Konneh and Prince Konneh; eight siblings, Francis J. Konneh (Finda), E. Hawa Sherif (Abu), Festus M. Konneh (Musu), Christopher F. Konneh, Sr (Varbahj), Christine M. Budy, Robert K. Konneh, Emma Konneh and Esther H. Konneh; two surviving uncles, Moses M. Konneh, Sr. and Kagoma Dunoh; and a host of nephews, cousins and nieces in Liberia and the diaspora.
