Francis Brandy Kesseh Sr.

Sunrise: November 11, 1936 – Sunset: November 1, 2021

I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon the rock, and established my goings. And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord. Psalm 40:1-3

With profound sadness, the Kesseh family announces the home going of a beloved husband, father, grand-father, great grandfather, great-great grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and dear friend.

Francis B. Kesseh Sr. transitioned to glory on Monday, November 1, 2021 at 11:00 AM With his loving wife by his side at Huntersville Medical center Huntersville, North Carolina. He is survived by his wife, Mary L. Kebbeh-Kesseh, his children: Comfort (Tijani), Adolphus (Rebecca), Winston (Winnifred), David (Queeta), Wayee, Korto, Francis Jr. (Miatta), Cymbaline (Lancelot), foster children: Beatrice (Franklin), and Lillian. He leaves behind 39 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, silblings, nephews, nieces, cousins, and a host of other relatives in the USA and other parts of the world. He was predeceased by his parents, Mr. Francis Brandy Kesseh and Mrs. Wayee Kesseh, foster daughter: Victoria, and two sons: Nathaniel and Eric.

Mr. Francis B. Kesseh Sr. affectionately called Daddy, Uncle Francis, Kesso, Player, Democrate, JJ. Kesseh Big Man, and Ma Fren Oh, lived a God-fearing Christian life, raised his family in the church and was also very protective of them. Daddy touched many lives, and we are confident that his time on earth was very fruitful. Special thanks and appreciation to those who showed him love and affection over the years.

Daddy loved soccer, boxing, dancing, and being in the company of family and friends. He was a very kind man, dedicated husband, loving father and grandfather. He will be missed by his family and everyone he touched in this world. May his soul rest in eternal peace.

Well done, thy good and faithful servant.
