ONIKE
ROYAL JONES
With
praise and thanksgiving to God, the Jones family announce
the homegoing of Onike Royal Jones on the morning of February
6th, 2009 at Providence Hospital in Washington DC . Onike
is survived by Angela Rocks Jones; his children Sylvester
Jones, Wanda Jones and William Emmanuel Jones; his aunts Madina
Lewis and Salina Furey; his brothers Magnus A. Jones, Jr,
William O. Davies Jones, Kerston W. (Bo) Jones, J. Armah Karmo;
his sisters Magdalene Jones, Agnes Pierre, Vashti Jones, Joyce
Stanley Yearwood, Enid Jones-Hare, Elaine Jones, and Violet
Jones-Bruce; and his grand children Takiyah Henriques, Naptali
Adams, Alicia Jones, Eileen Jones and Emmanuel Jones. Also
surviving him are a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
in Sierra Leone , Liberia , Europe and in the USA .
We
thank God for Onikes life and for all of the joy, kindness,
wisdom, and laughter that he brought to us all.

at Episcopal Church of Our Savior. All sentiments and/or statements
of remembrance will be done only at this time.
Funeral
Services
will take place on Saturday, February 21, 2009 - promptly
at 10:00 am at Episcopal Church of Our Savior. We recommend
that all be seated by 9:45 am so that the funeral mass can
begin on time.
A
Festive Repast
will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2009 at Episcopal Church
of Our Savior immediately following the interment.
