Again, with heavy hearts, deep lamentation, and immeasurable grief and sorrow, we are saddened to announce the passing of our beloved husband, brother, father, son and a true friend, Edwin M James II. This sad event occurred on Saturday, December 4th, 2021, at Hennepin County Medical Center, Minneapolis MN, USA.

Edwin is survived by his wife, Mayanlay James; his children, Faith James, Massa A. Dukuly, Abou O. Dukuly, Lassana L. Dukuly, Maya N. James, Edwin K. James Jr.; his mothers, Hawa James and Martha S. James; his siblings, Edwin Jayah James I (Charlesetta), Varnie R. James (Christine), Edwina James, Charlotte James-Michaelson (Harrison), Abraham B. James (Algina), Jah Chillton James, Rahim James, Rose James, Satta D. James, Pushie James-Sieh (Israel), Maima V. James and a host nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Edwin Jayah James Sr., sister, Yatta James-Tarnah and brother, Golakai H. James.
