It is with our deepest regret that we the Jones, Hunter, Bryant, Moore and Garmanto families announce the home-going of our amazing mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, niece, and cousin Mrs. Earline Joyce Hunter. This heartbreaking event occurred on Sunday, August 29, 2021 in Accra, Ghana.
Mrs. Earline Joyce Hunter is survived by her children: Gaw S. Jones Jr., George S. Jones, Sr., Precious R. E. Jones, Otterlee Joyce Miller, Victor Meach Fernandez, and Karline Abe Massalley. Grandchildren: Rodney U. Diggs, Ellenster M. Jones, Gaw S. Jones III, George S. Jones, Jr., Ezekiel Jones, Jeremiah Jones, Cephas M. Jones, Wesley Williams, Unique Williams, Christian M. Jones, Oticious Weah, and George Weah. Siblings: Ms. Rose Hunter Porte, Mr. Tegba Othello Hunter, Mr. Lysander Hunter, Jr., Mr. Oliver Hunter, Ms. Ophelia Hunter, Mr. Lawrence Hunter, Ms. Marie Hunter and Ms. Naomi Hunter. Other family members: her aunties, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, daughters-in-law, sisters-in-law, foster children, play children and a host of other relatives and friends.
Earline was preceded by Mr. Lysander Hunter Sr. (Father), Mrs. Olivia E. Hunter (Mother), and Wokie Miller (Daughter).
Funeral Arrangements:
Mrs. Earline Joyce Hunter’s body will be removed from St. Moses Funeral Home on Friday October 8, 2021 at 5 p.m. and will be taken to her residence in Gardnersville, Liberia for wake-keeping, starting at 9 p.m.
The funeral cortege will leave from St. Moses Funeral Home on Saturday, October 9, 2021.
The Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 9th, 2021 at the Faith Healing Temple of Jesus Christ Church (Kesselly Boulevard Branch), located on Kesselly Boulevard, Barnersville Junction.
Interment follows thereafter at Johnsonville cemetery.
