This sad and tragic event occurred on Sunday, January 25, 2009 at the Laurel Regional Hospital in Laurel , Maryland .

The late Mrs. Priscilla Elizabeth Cole - Hughes was pre-deceased by her husband Jonas S. Hughes. She is survived by nine children; Sylvia Claudia, Jonathan, Jeremiah & Jonas Hughes ( Liberia ), Doris Hughes-Teekaye (Sam), Fanny Elizer Hughes, Joyce Hughes Herring (Hilton), and Emmo George Hughes; Sister: Sabrina Taylor (Liberia); Brother Kamara Cole ( Sierra Leone); Nieces: Matty Mai Hughes-Davies; Lydia Cole Bracewell, Brother-in-law, Joseph Hughes; Sisters in law: Lucretia Hughes - George, Evelyn Hughes & Sophia Hughes,
several grand children and a host of other relatives and friends in the USA, Liberia & Sierra Leone
