Mrs.
Adeline E. Harris Horace
The
Harris, Hill, Redd, Lawson and Horace Families announce the
death of Mrs. Adeline E. Harris Horace in her 77th year following
a period of illness.
Tetee
Adeline as she is commonly called, died on Sunday, February
08, 2009 at 09:30 a.m. at the residence of her daughter, Cllr.
F. Juah Lawson in Mamba Point, Monrovia, Republic of Liberia.
In
the meantime, the family is meeting daily at the Mamba Point
residence of Cllr. F. Juah Lawson to plan the burial activities
of the deceased.
Meanwhile,
the body of Mrs. Adeline E. Harris Horace has been deposited
at the Samuel A. Stryker Funeral.
Funeral
arrangements are as follow:
The
body will be removed from the Samuel Stryker Funeral palour
on Thursday, February 26 at 10:00 am and taken to the S. Trowen
Nagbe United Methodist Church for two hours of wake keeping.
The
body will then be escorted to the First United Methodist Church
in Lower Buchanan, Grand Bassa County for a night of wake
keeping on the same day.
Funeral
service
takes place on Friday, February 27 at 10:30 am at the same
church. Burial follows immediately at Lower Buchanan cemetery.
She
leaves to mourn her loss, her husband, Rev. Charles W. Horace,
Sr., 8 Children, 14 Foster Children, 48 Grand Children, 15
Great Grand Children, 1 Brother Mr. Julius Harris, 2 Sisters-in
Law, Mrs. Irene L. Harris; Mrs. Lauretta Collins Harris; 20
Nieces and Nephews, Cousins and a host of relatives and friends,
in Liberia and the United States of America.
She
is predeceased by the following, her: father: Mr. James A.
D. Harris; Mother: Mrs. Roselyn Elizabeth Hill Harris; Brothers:
Rev. Edward J. Harris, Sr.; Mr. George Harris; Son: Alexander
Rosler Redd; 3 Foster Sons; and a host of relatives.
This
announcement goes to all family members and friends of the
family in the United States of America and the Republic of
Liberia.
