It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we the Holt, Montgomery and Diggs families announce the death of our beloved father, husband, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew and friend, Lancelot Holt. Lancelot departed the world stage on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at his home in Trenton, New Jersey, USA.
Lance was predeceased by his father Joseph L. Holt Sr. Mother Martha Montgomery and brother Joseph “baby-Joe” Holt jr. Lance touched the lives of so many people with his athleticism, beautiful, cheerful spirit and vibrant personality. The passing of Lance is immeasurable, but the imprints he has left on our hearts are undeniable. Sleep on beautiful soul!
He leaves to mourn his wife Frances Diggs-Holt. His loving children: Timothy Holt ll, Shaneka Holt, Denise Holt and Lance Holt ll. His siblings: Timothy Holt sr, Ethel Holt Toles Rev. Edward Holt, Lena Brathwaite, Rev. Hilton L. Holt, Yatta Staples and Florence Holt. His aunts, Louise “Puta” Montgomery and Frances Montgomery Norris, grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends in the United States, Liberia, and abroad.
