Constance “Genevie” Ophelia Richards- Harris

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we the Harris, Richards, Richardson, and Snorton families announce the death of our beloved Daughter, Mother, Wife, Grandmother, Sister, Cousin, and friend Constance “Genevie” Ophelia Richards – Harris who departed this world on Tuesday, August 18, 2021, at the NYU Hospital in New York, New York, USA.
She was predeceased by her husband, Adolphus Moses “GOGO “Harris, father, Reverend Samuel Richards, stepfather Samuel B. Richardson, Grandmother Louise Johnson, Aunt Beatrice Snorton and sister Verl Richards.
Connie “Genevie” as she was affectionately called by many, was a very kind and loving daughter, mother, sister, aunt and cousin that touched the lives of so many people with her cheerful spirit and vibrant personality. Connie, will be truly missed but she is free and we thank God for the lives she impacted and now it’s time for her to go and take her rest.
Constance leaves to mourn her loss, her 96 years old mother, Matilda Richardson, children, Lovest Harris-Hogstrom, Marie P. Harris, Adolphus Harris Jr., and Lenny Harris. Grandchildren, CoMarie Harris, Lovest Victoria Hogstrom and two other grandchildren. In addition, she also leaves to mourn her loss her siblings, brothers: John Richardson, Lasannah Richardson, Henry Richardson, Sam Richardson, Franklin Richardson, Winston Richardson and Martin Richardson. Her sisters: Thelma Johnson, Lydia Richardson, Louise Washington, Euphemia Sarno, Silda Richards-Knowlden, Valerie Thompson and her loving nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Arrangements:
**Due to the increase in COVID cases, we are requiring everyone that will be attending the service to PLEASE wear masks and/or face shields.
