Comfort W. Harmon
“For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.” Romans 14:7-8
We are assured by the word of God that “Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted”; it is with saddened yet grateful hearts that the Cooper and Harmon families announce the passing of our Mother, Sister, Aunt, and Cousin Comfort W. Harmon (Ma Comfort, Sister Comfort, Mother, as she was commonly known).
Comfort’s passing occurred Sunday the 17th of October at the J.J. Dossen Memorial Hospital in Harper City, Maryland County. She leaves to mourn her siblings, Helena Harmon, Moses Harmon, George Harmon, Dolly Cooper-Bowman (John), Oretha Cooper-Tengbeh (Edward), Princess Cooper-Odinga, Edwin A. Cooper (Danielette), Lennard N. Cooper, Legendre D. Cooper (Randetta) and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and loved ones as well as friends in Liberia and the United States.
While in our midst, Comfort was predeceased by her parents - Moses Harmon, Esther Harmon, Arthur Cooper Sr. and Talitha Cumi Cooper. Comfort’s predeceased siblings were Samuel Harmon, Moses Harmon, Victoria Harmon, Florence Harmon, Ruth Harmon, Arthur J. Cooper, Jr. and Haikal F. Cooper.
