"2nd Timothy 4:7-8 “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith;

The Harding and Mathies families regret to announce the home-going of our Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather, Uncle, Cousin, and friend, Reverend Israel W.E. Harding, Sr. Reverend Harding unexpectedly answered the call to glory at the National Hospital in Abuja, Nigeria on November 10, 2021 after a brief illness.

Reverend Harding was a long-time employee of the Monrovia Consolidated School System (MCSS). He also held the position of Reverend and secretary at the St. Moses Funeral Parlor in Gardnersville, a position he held with distinction until his death. It was at the St. Moses Funeral Parlor that Reverend Harding truly exemplified the highest form of humanity when he assisted countless of grieving families in providing care and last rites for their departed loved ones. Indeed, our family and country have lost a true humanitarian. A void too deep to fully appreciate now.

Reverend Harding leaves to mourn his irreparable loss his wife, 13 children, a host of siblings, grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and a host of loved ones.

Reverend Harding’s final home-going services are as follow:

Wake keeping service: Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at 6:00pm at the St. Moses Funeral Parlor in Gardnersville, Monrovia.

Funeral service: 10:00AM Thursday, December 16, 2021, at the Providence Baptist Church at the corners of Broad, Center, and Ashmun Streets, Monrovia, Liberia , with burial to follow at Brewerville, Monrovia Liberia.
