Mrs. Augusta F. Porte-Goodridge (Petu)
October 23, 1923 to May 19, 2008

The Porte and Goodridge Families announce with profound regrets the death in her 85th year, of Augusta Porte-Goodridge, former Operations Manager Executive Pavilion, Monrovia Liberia. This sad event occurred on the evening of Monday, May 19, 2008 at the Roger Williams Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island. Petu leaves to mourn her death five biological children: Roseline T. Goodridge, J. Chauncey Goodridge, Albertha (Addy) Goodridge-Clinton, Comfort Goodridge-Lawrence and Joyce (Anio) Koussema-Agoda, fostered children: Emmett Goodridge, Leona Goodridge-Porte, Mae Goll-Sillah, Ruby Goodridge, and Joanna Goodridge-Williams (Nane), her brother, Mr. Jeffery Porte, one brother-in-law, Mr. Richmond Goodridge, several grand and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Providence, Rhode Island 02907

- Viewing of the body 5:00 - 6:30 p.m.
- Wake keeping and Praise & Worship Service 7:00 - 10: p.m.

2. Thursday, May 29th, 2008 - Funeral Service - 10:00 a.m.

3. Interment immediately after the Service at:

The Oakland Cemetery

Providence, Rhode Island
