Alfreda T. Gibson

Ernest and William Bruce, together with members of the Jones and Karneh families, announce, with deep regret, the passing of their mother, Alfreda T. Gibson, commonly known as Sis Tee-tee. This sad event occurred on the morning of May 13, 2008, in Monrovia. She is survived by her sons Ernest C.B. Bruce, and William T. Bruce, Jr., her brothers G. Alvin Jones, Dr. A.E.Nyema Jones, and E.C.B. Jones, Jr., sisters Odell Padmore, Georgia Appleton, Clarice Massa Karneh, Edna Martiesen, Ruth Sando Perry, Luna Perry, a host of nieces and nephews including Paul Jones, Marjone Wiles Greaves,Teidi Wiles York, grandchildren Quadayou Bruce Thomas, William T. Bruce, III, Cassandra Bruce, Carlos Bruce, Rusty Bruce, Sadia Bruce, Kwaku Bruce, and great grandchildren.

The body will be removed from the St. Moses Funeral Parlors (Somalia Drive, Gardnersville) on Monday May 26, 2008, and taken to the Trinity Cathedral on Broad Street, where wake keeping will be held from 4pm to 6pm.

The funeral service will take place at the Trinity Cathedral on Broad Street, Monrovia, Liberia, on May 27, 2008, at 9am.

Internment will follow in Koimah (near Brewerville), Montserrado County.
