The
lord gives and the lord calls home
The
loss of a loved one is painful, devastating and difficult
to accept. However, the life of a love one leaves a legacy
that says, amid the pain and devastation, God must be justified
in calling such a precious life home. With this in mind, the
Family of Coolidge E. Dennis, Sr. would like to announce the
home going of our father, grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew
and friend who went to be with the Lord on January 7, 2009.
This sad but joyous event occurred on Wednesday January 7,
2009 at the Sligo Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Takoma
Park, MD. USA.
Father
Coolidge E. Dennis, Sr., leaves to mourn his loss and cherish
his legacy, his children: Olive Dennis Thomas, Winifred Dennis
Kesseh, Lucia Dennis, Rev. Coolidge E. Dennis Jr., Clarence
Dennis, Leroyd Dennis, Maybelline Dennis, Ernestine Dennis
Odenusi, Austin Dennis, Lacy Dennis; his grand children: Christopher
Dennis, Erica Odenusi, Hawa Dennis, Raquel Kennedy, Alawin
Mulbah, Ruth Odenusi, Jimmy Dillon, Josephine Dennis, Eldred
Dennis, Michael Akingbade, Blessing Odenusi, Tricia Dennis,
Ryan Kesseh. His Brothers and Sisters: Hoover Dennis, Lucia
Dennis Johnson, Clarice Dennis Goll, Henry Dennis Jr., Winston
Dennis, Glenor Mary Tappin, Maude Dennis, Florence Dennis,
Olivia Dennis, Esther Dennis, Marie Dennis, John Gbakoyah,
James Gbakoyah and a host of other relatives.
Mr. Coolidge E, Dennis, Sr., was born in Careysburg, Montserrado
County, Liberia. As a product of Laboratory High, the Lott
Carey Baptist Mission family, and the University of Liberia,
he lived and served his country in many faithful areas of
life: The Ministry of Education, The Ministry of Finance,
The Supreme Court of Liberia, and The Ministry of Internal
Affairs. Mr. Dennis migrated to the United States of America
and stayed in the Silver Spring, Maryland area until the Lord
called him to go Home in Glory.
